TNZ offers conflict resolution training, harassment prevention training, supervisor training, and leadership training that practitioners in the field actually trust. Our facilitators are not professional trainers who happen to know something about conflict. They are mediators, investigators, clinical counsellors, and organizational consultants who also happen to be exceptional facilitators. The difference shows up in the room.
We are consistently rated among the best conflict resolution training providers in BC. We have delivered conflict management training, workplace harassment training, communication skills training, and psychological safety training for organizations ranging from small non-profits to national associations, federal government departments, and healthcare authorities. Every session is customized to the audience: we do not run the same deck twice.
In 2026, our workshop catalogue includes a new module on AI in the Workplace, helping organizations navigate the human dynamics of technology adoption, including how AI is changing performance expectations, privacy norms, and the nature of professional work.

Why it matters
The benefits
Immediate applicability

Customized, not canned
Your team's specific challenges shape the content. We regularly incorporate sector-specific scenarios, recent case studies, and examples from your own context.

Provincial Health Authority
Situation
A provincial health authority needed to address a measurable increase in interpersonal conflict and informal complaints within clinical teams following a significant restructuring. The HR team identified communication breakdown and role ambiguity as root causes, and wanted training that would address both.
Intervention
TNZ designed a three-module programme: a half-day on communication and conflict styles for all staff (350 participants over six sessions), a full-day leadership module for 45 managers focused on performance conversations and de-escalation, and a half-day on psychological safety for the executive team. All content was customized to the healthcare context.
Outcome
Post-programme survey data showed a statistically significant improvement in self-reported confidence in managing difficult conversations. HR reported a 31% reduction in informal complaints in the six months following the programme. Three managers subsequently requested individual coaching, which TNZ provided.
National Professional Association
Situation
A national professional association with chapters across Canada wanted a consistent respectful workplace training programme that could be delivered to regional chapter boards, some in person and some virtually. Previous training had used a generic vendor and feedback had been consistently poor.
Intervention
TNZ developed a half-day programme incorporating sector-specific case studies, regulatory context, and a facilitated discussion component that worked equally well in person and over video. The same facilitator delivered the programme to all eight chapters over four months to ensure consistency.
Outcome
Average participant rating: 4.8/5 across all eight sessions. The association incorporated the programme into its annual governance calendar. Two chapters subsequently retained TNZ for individual mediation services, having experienced the quality of TNZ facilitation firsthand.
Common questions
Frequently asked questions
How many participants can attend a session?
We recommend 8 to 30 participants for most workshop formats. Keynote presentations can accommodate larger groups. We can advise on optimal group size for your specific topic.
Can training be delivered virtually?
Yes, and our virtual delivery is genuinely effective, not a compromise. We use breakout rooms, digital tools, and interactive formats designed specifically for virtual delivery.
Do you offer harassment prevention training specifically for supervisors?
Yes, harassment prevention training for managers and supervisors is one of our most requested programmes. It covers legislative obligations under BC and federal workplace legislation, recognising and responding to complaints, and building a respectful workplace culture. We offer it as a standalone half-day or integrated into a broader supervisor training programme. Available for supervisor training in Vancouver, BC, and virtually across Canada.
Do you offer certification or continuing education credits?
Full-day programmes meet most employer requirements for continuing education. We can provide certificates of completion. Credit applicability for specific professional designations varies by body.
Can we book multiple sessions at a discounted rate?
Yes. Volume pricing applies automatically for four or more sessions. Contact us for our current pricing schedule.
